Free transportation of war refugees to asylum centers
We have been actively involved in helping war refugees from Ukraine since 2022. We used our 9-seater van to transport people for free from the Slovak-Ukrainian border to asylum centers and accommodation. We have helped dozens of refugees, regardless of their age or ethnicity, with safe transportation.
Adaptation of Ukrainians
Help with the adaptation of Ukrainian refugees in Košice, Slovakia
We guided Ukrainians living in Košice around our city, so that they can get to know it better and feel at home here. We show them the city, local customs, traditions, ways to spend their free time here. We try to show them the good and friendly face of the city. Cooperation with the Roma community
Improving the reputation of the Roma community in Slovakia and abroad.
Roma are the second largest minority in Slovakia. They often face prejudice, discrimination and stereotypes. How can we as tourist guides help them? We are often approached by foreign influencers and YouTubers who want to document their lives. Unfortunately, they only want shocking footage and explicit poverty. Our task is to guide them to capture the Roma issue in its complexity. Let positive news and examples of good practice also reach social media.
